Transportation
- From the Airport - for those who come by plane there are three regular bus lines (208, 292 and 902) from the airport to the city centre. We suggest to take the line 292 (see here for timetable) since it stops at the "Cracovia" stop and close to the city centre (next stop called "AGH").
One can also take a taxi which should cost around 60 PLN (~15 €). If you take a taxi ask for the price before you enter it. We advice to use only the registered taxi companies and to ask for the receipt.
Due to the works in progress the trains from the airport to the main station are cancelled.
More information can be found on Kraków Airport Page.
- From the Main Station - for those who come by train we suggest to take the bus number 179 and leave at the stop called "AGH" (stop number 5) which is the nearest stop from the Auditorium Maximum or at the next one called "Cracovia".
The taxi fare should not exceed 30 PLN (less than 10 €).
- Cracow city transportation
The city transport system in Cracow includes buses and trams.
There are two zones of transportation. Zone 1 "city" covers almost whole Cracow excluding its suburbs e.g. the airport. All tram lines and bus lines starting with 1 are in this zone. Zone 2 covers suburbs of Cracow (e.g. the airport). All buses with numbers starting with 2 go to the second zone but when one uses such a bus within the zone 1, one does not need to cancel the ticket for zone 2. All night bus and trams lines start with 6.
